Company Jubilee: 30 Years of CONET

Hennef, Mai 22nd, 2017. Exactly 30 years ago yesterday – on May 21st 1987 – the signing of the Articles of Partnership for the CoNet Computer & Netzwerke GmbH marked the start of our CONET Corporate History.

With more than 400 employees and sales exceeding 70 million Euros, CONET has successfully established its standing as a highly competent systems and consulting company for SAP, Infrastructure, Communications, Software and Experts, ranking among the best system houses in Germany according to recent surveys by leading German IT magazine Computerwoche and having repeatedly been awarded with the Top Job certificate for being an outstanding employer.

In the early days, just a handful of computer scientists, IT experts and mathematicians started the business in Euskirchen and soon moved to larger offfices in Siegburg, predominantly managing projects in IT training and logistics. 1991 the growing team relocated to Hennef, 1992 the sales renvenues generated with an ever widening portfolio encompassing almost all areas of IT solutions and support exceeded the first threshold of 10 million D-Mark. In 1996, 80 employees moved into the purpose-built new office buildings which still house the company’s headquarters today. Sales and staff continued to grow, as did CONET’s network of subsidiaries and locations, today including offices in Neubrandenburg, Berlin, Augsburg, Frankfurt, Ludwigsburg, Frankenthal, Koblenz and Vienna and a network of sales and implementation partners across the EMEA region.
