CONET Group on Course for Growth: Increased Turnover, Clear Market Positioning and 400 New Jobs

With its HORIZON28 strategy program, the CONET Group is developing into a full-service IT provider with end-to-end solutions in six market-relevant service areas. Improvement by two places in the current Lünendonk® list.

Bonn, 5 June 2025. By consistently focusing its organizational structures on six market-relevant service areas and a newly established, centrally managed sales department, the CONET Group has reached the first important milestones on its targeted growth path: With more than 305 million euros, the IT consultancy has once again increased its annual turnover in the financial year ending March 31, 2025 and is growing in line with the market. This is also confirmed by the Lünendonk list "Leading IT consulting and system integration companies in Germany" published this week, in which CONET moved up two places in the top 25 ranking with a current 18th place. The group of companies currently employs 2,000 digitization specialists across Europe and is planning up to 400 new hires for the current financial year.

The strategic focus on the three core industries of Automotive, Public Sector and Defense as well as the growth sectors of Finance & Insurance, Manufacturing and Energies & Utilities is sharpening the CONET Group's consulting and service portfolio. In the six central service divisions of Digital Advisory Services (Consulting), Data Intelligence & AI, Digital Experience, Business Applications, Software Development and Cloud & Managed Services, the CONET Group offers its customers comprehensive end-to-end solutions with strong vertical expertise. The group of companies is thus developing into a leading medium-sized IT full-service provider in the DACH region. Especially in the central segments of digital defence and public administration, the CONET Group is the ideal partner for a successful transformation and, in anticipation of the creation of the new Federal Ministry for Digitalization and Government Modernization, has focused on the specific digitalization needs of its key industries.

"We are very proud that we have successfully implemented our HORIZON28 strategy despite a difficult economic environment," says CONET CEO Martin Wibbe. "While many of our competitors are currently consolidating and making massive job cuts, we are continuing to create new jobs and are even expanding our recruiting activities: We will hire up to 400 new employees in the current financial year and thus further strengthen our outstanding Defense and Public areas of expertise through targeted investments in specialist staff and in-depth know-how!"

Daniela Bünger, CFO of the CONET Group, adds: "In the past financial year, the CONET Group set an important course towards increased profitability and accelerated growth. Our clear goal for the coming years is double-digit growth rates. And with positive signals in the IT market - from growth forecasts in the digital economy, rapid developments in core topics such as AI and Cloud to the creation of a central digitalization ministry at federal level – we believe the conditions are right for this.
