CONET again belongs to the best employers
Hennef, 1st February 2013. Where do employees find the best working conditions in medium-sized companies in Germany? The answer to that is being provided by the employers’ competition “Top Job” since 2002. For the first time the entire CONET Group participated this year, after CONET Solutions GmbH as part of the group has been awarded the prize already in 2010. Before that, St. Gallen University has questioned the employees and the personnel management of all contestants. As mentor of the competition, Wolfgang Clement awarded all winners yesterday in the landscape park Duisburg-North the „Top Job“-label.
Solid management principles characterize the management philosophy of the CONET Group: to trust in one’s own intuition as well as in the own employees and the effort to address even uncomfortable truths to solve conflicts in an early stage and to define one’s own expectations in a transparent way. “Our management process distinguishes itself by a clear specification of goals, which are ambitious and challenging for the employees and which provides then with a scope of activities”, says the Chairman of the Board Rüdiger Zeyen about his internal strategy.
Leadership means for the IT service provider from Hennef to be responsible for the development of his 400 employees and the social equilibrium within the company. Therefore, the topic “further development” is in the focus of the annual discussion of objectives and performance assessment. Jason Pick, SAP Consultant for Business Intelligence & Controlling, confirms this: “The team work and the helpfulness among the colleagues are tops. Since I have written my bachelor thesis here, I have always been optimally supported by in-house and external trainings. I can now introduce my knowledge into new and fascinating projects!"
For CONET der “Top Job” Award is at the same time honor and motivation according to Rüdiger Zeyen: “Regarding a good and motivating working climate, our employees and I have achieved a lot together. The award and the results from the detailed analysis of our personnel management will give us a good impetus to walk successfully further our way.
About the comparison of companies "Top Job"
Since 2002, compamedia GmbH awards the “Top Job” quality label for extraordinary personnel management to medium-sized companies. The scientific direction of the benchmarking lies in the hands of Prof. Dr. Heike Bruch and her team of the Institute for Leadership and Personnel Management of St. Gallen University.
The comparison of companies bases on a process which has been developed by Prof. Dr. Heike Bruch of the Institute for Leadership and Personnel Management. Prof. Bruch and her team implement the staff and personnel managers interviews for “Top Job” since 2005.
For the current competition 131 companies have entered “Top Job”, 89 of them have received the award as best employers among medium-sized companies in Germany. Mentor of the competition is the former Federal Minister for Economics Wolfgang Clement.
