CONET again honoured with the best employer award

Hennef-based IT system and consulting company receives „Top Job“ award for excellent employer quality / Wolfgang Clement presents the coveted trophy in Berlin.

Hennef, 15th February 2016. At CONET, the employees enjoy an extraordinary workplace culture. On 12th February CONET has received for this feat the well-known „Top Job“-signet out of the hands of the former Minister for Economic Affairs, Wolfgang Clement in Berlin. The „Top Job“ mentor honours the Hennef-based IT system and consulting company especially for its strategic focus on sustainable securing of specialists by increased employer attractiveness.

It is already the third time for CONET to receive the award as top employer. The Centre for Employer Attractiveness (Zentrum für Arbeitgeberattraktivität, zeag GmbH) honours enterprises which do remarkable work in campaigning for a healthy work place culture with this quality signet „Top Job“. Their effort is mirrored in the quality of leadership and, in close connection therewith, in a high degree of work satisfaction and low rate of employee exhaustion.

CONET has convinced the jury of this Germany-wide employers’ benchmark „Top Job“, which exists since 2002, mostly in the fields of leadership, staff development and family-friendliness. The enterprise with circa 500 employees emphasises defined leading principles and promotes the strengths of its employees by a task- and requirement-oriented staff development. Apart from the professional development CONET helps its employees to maintain a balanced work life - private life equilibrium with a flexible working schedule, sports and exercise activities, promotion for a healthy diet like daily fresh fruit and individually designed parental leave models.

„We are very proud to be awarded the ‚Top Job signet’ again“, says Managing Director Anke Höfer. „We appreciate this award as a success for the whole team and are very pleased that our personnel work has been honoured in such a scope. We will not, however, rest on our laurels, but take the evaluation results as a guideline for further optimisations in order to enhance our attractiveness as an employer.“

„The ‚Top Job’ award stands for a sustainable work place culture, which is healthy and performance-oriented at the same time. CONET succeeds in creating a fruitful climate for innovation and performance with the help of a trusting cooperation and good working conditions. Altogether, we have registered an above-average profit increase of 20 percent for the ‚Top Job’-enterprises of this year. This emphasises anew the entrepreneurial and strategic importance of employer attractiveness“, concludes Silke Masurat, Business Manager of the zeag GmbH.

The enterprise benchmark „Top Job“
Since 2002 medium-sized enterprises work together with „Top Job“ on their qualities as employers. Part of this project is a signet with which the enterprises can visualise their qualities as the best employers. The organisational responsibility lies with zeag GmbH – Centre for Employer Attractiveness with its headquarters being in Konstanz am Bodensee. The scientific management of this benchmark lies in the hands of Prof. Dr. Heike Bruch and her team from the Institute for Leadership and Personnel Management of St. Gallen University. Mentor of this project is the former Minister for Economic Affairs Wolfgang Clement.
