The scope of electronic business data exchange between enterprises is steadily growing. This also holds true for the information transfer between trading companies and their suppliers.

Stocks, article numbers, order data, quantities supplied, invoices and diverse further information have to be converted into a standardized format in order to ensure smooth data transfers between the different customer, supplier and logistic systems. The preferred format for this is the prevailing EANCOM/EDIFACT which has been especially developed for the electronic data exchange between commerce, administration and transport.

In order to easily and reliably convert the data into this standard, CONET has developed a modular converter and offers the electronic processing (EDI) as a service on top.

For the usage of EDICON a suitable partner connection has to be established and tested. After this the productive phase can begin right away. As transport channels serve the Telekom’s BusinessMail, e-mail and SFTP.

Receiving, converting and forwarding data and information is being done in individual intervals as agreed upon with the customer. The customer receives message-specific protocols about the data processing as an additional documentation and – if necessary – additional professional assistance regarding  the processes data exchange and conversion.

Supported message types:

  • ORDERS
  • DESADV (supplier notice)
  • INVOIC (invoices)
  • HANMOV (message for the cargo/freight handling and transport)
