Bitkom Conference and visit of a Parliamentarian at CONET

Bitkom task force „Public Commissions“ discuss with the CDU-representative of the Bundestag Elisabeth Winkelmeier-Becker about IT procurement and procurement procedures.

Hennef, 14th Decembre 2015. Requirements, hurdles and reforms in the field of IT procurement and procurement procedures by the public domain were in the focus of the conference of the Bitkom task force „Public Commissions“ on Wednesday last at the CONET headquarters in Hennef. Apart from guest lectures regarding special contractual terms for hardware procurement, sustainable IT procurement and the status quo of the public procurement law Felix Zimmermann, divisional head Public Procurement & Procurement Law, informed the nearly 20 arrived task force members about the Bitkom focal points in the issue „Public Commissions“ in the coming year.

For this direct discussion with the political sector CONET and Bitkom have invited the CDU-representative of the Bundestag and Chairwoman of the CDU in the county of Rhein-Sieg Elisabeth Winkelmeier-Becker to the CONET headquarters in Hennef. Winkelmeier-Becker, who is quite familiar with the issue “Public Procurement and Procurement Law” as the spokesperson of the CDU/CSU fraction in the committee for legal protection and consumer protection in the Bundestag and from her work in other committees, discussed with the task force members et al. current issues like „Expulsion and self-purification of enterprises within the procurement procedures“.
