CONET ranks among the best employers among Germany’s medium-sized enterprises

Wolfgang Clement awards IT systems and consulting house with the seal of approval “Top Job” for its HR management – CONET trainees confirm top results

Hennef, 29 January 2010. CONET Solutions GmbH belongs to the four best employers among Germany’s medium-sized enterprises, according to the results of the latest Top Job survey, a nationwide, corporate-benchmarking competition encompassing all sectors of the economy. Germany’s former Minister for Economic Affairs Wolfgang Clement presented the company with the “Top Job” seal of approval yesterday evening in Duisburg, appreciating the stable and successful HR management of CONET. The IT company, which since its foundation in 1987 encompasses services such as consulting and software development as well as network and communications infrastructures, made it to the squad of the best four within the company size of 101 to 500 employees.

Especially the encouragement of the commitment of the employees has been rated positively by the Institute for Leadership and HR Management at the University of St. Gallen: Regular human resources developing interviews, advanced trainings for efficient work organization and time management as well as the high family focus are, according to the information of the academic management, outstanding achievements.

“The award for one of the best four employers in our category confirms that we are on the right track”, comments the chairman of the CONET holding company CONET Technologies AG, Rüdiger Zeyen, on the achievement of the seal of approval by the subsidiary CONET Solutions GmbH. “Especially in difficult times, the fair treatment of our employees deserves first priority. The ‘Top Job’ seal of approval shows how important the employees are to us and that they appreciate our commitment.”

At the same time, CONET consolidates the company’s position as one of the largest and most successful IT trainers in the region with their graduated trainees in January. Both CONET trainees completed their IHK examination with the overall grade “very good”.

CONET provides a range of vocational opportunities ranging from recognized occupations as IT specialist for Application Development or System Integration, Management Assistant for Office Communication to dual courses of studies, combined vocational study programs as well as Bachelor of Business Informatics.
